Ben Albert is a cinematographer and filmmaker based out of Milwaukee, WI, with a passion for creating compelling visuals genuine to the stories he tells. He works on a wide array of non-fiction, commercial, and creative projects, with a focus on our human relationship with the natural world.  

 

Growing up on a small farm in southern Wisconsin, he developed a passion for nature and the outdoors which is deeply reflected in his work today. In 2021, Ben interned at Compass Light Productions where he assisted in producing scientific and cultural documentaries from around the world. He was selected as a 2022 Jackson Wild Summit Fellow and participated in workshops and mentorship with National Geographic and the industry’s top environmental filmmakers. Most recently, his first feature documentary, “An Invitation to Wonder: Waubesa Wetlands” had its premiere screening at the 2023 Fresh Coast Film Festival where it won the best first-time filmmaker award.

Ben's clients range from non-profit organizations to local businesses, and he has worked in both corporate and event videography. He is part 107 drone certified and his experience in the full creative process will bring your story to life from start to finish.
